Hooky put on quite a show last night in Baltimore, started off with the Captain and Tenneile (Love will keep us together), Hit all the NO favorite's, Monaco, even had Barney's song with the Chemical Brothers. but Tranmission and Love will tear us apart (started off with the String Quartet's version) were the highlights of the night. Looked like he was having fun.
Hooky's DJ Tour

I had a great time experiencing Mr. Hook's DJ set at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, CA. I wasn't sure what to expect but he spun a bunch of New Order and Joy Division stuff. Way more than I figured he would. He kept doing that DJ thing where they hold up their arms like a symphony conductor. Then in a 2006 moment he held up a cd instead of 12" in one of his hands while doing the pose. It seemed like not a lot of the crowd knew the mixes he spun from the last two albums but everyone knew the classics. If you get a chance to go to one of these it is 95% fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Hey All,
I've been living in Guangzhou, China for 2 years now, and I'm just about to move to Singapore. The standard of local and foreign music that passes through here tends to be extremely lame (in my time here we've had Backstreet Boys and Sarah Brightman, weak!) but I've just read that Hooky will be bringing his D.J. tour here at the end of April! This is unbelievable news for a huge fan who has been starved of awesome live music for so long, especially since the music of New Order and Joy Division has been the "soundtrack" to my life-changing stay here. What a farewell to China for me! I've put back my departure date just to catch it. Is this the first time in China for any of the boys and their related projects?? When WFTSC (which I thought was totally under-rated and a great listen by the way!) was released I was hoping for at least a Hong Kong date so I could duck across the border and check it out, but alas... Are there any other China-based fans out there that will be attending the Guangzhou gig? Would love to catch up with you there. Does anyone have any info as to what kind of set we can expect?
Cheers All,
Simmo

Did anyone go to this? I had tickets but couldn`t go in the end. Did i miss something?
I know its been asked before, but I've yet to find a sufficiently decent quality recording of one of his sets, can anyone help?
I've heard he's doing a DJ set in a pub called Dirty South (formerly the Rose of Lee) near Lewisham on 10th June - anyone else heard this?
He's doing a set near me during the Lokerse Feesten in Belgium on August 7th, the Charlatans and Madness are playing that night as well. I might go ... http://www.lokersefeesten.be/
