ok is this a version of Make It Happen or Prodigal Son?!

I would say its Prodigal son but is sometimes listed as Make it happen

It's Prodigal Son. I've never seen it listed anywhere as Make It Happen but it is on the Make It Happen Promo 10" from 1999. On that promo it was (correctly) listed as Prodigal Son (Cevin Fisher Mix).

It's not a very good remix to be honest, I never play it.

In fact, I won't beat around the bush; it's shite!

shite is a polite description.

Yup! I would say the following are class in one way or another:

Feel Every Beat (Danny Rampling 12" Mix) Second Nature (Plastik Mix) Second Nature (Trance Atlantic Dub) Until The End Of Time (K-Klassic Mix) Until The End Of Time (Fluffy Dice Mix) Make It Happen (Darren Price Mix)

Very little of Prodigal Son recognisably left in there, I'd venture. It's more of a hypnotic, rhythmic earthy sound. I like it a lot, but opinions differ

Yep.

The 12" Mix of Feel Every Beat, the Original Mix of Disappointed, and the Fluffy Dice mix of Until The End Of Time are cracking.

Not to mention the 12" Mix of Free Will off the For You single, the orange one. Dunno if it qualifies as a (re)mix - is there any other version?

The 12" mix of Free Will is basically the "original" mix, it's not a remix.

There is a 7" mix available on some Get The Message vinyl and the German CD single but it definitely comes across as a straight edit of the 12" Mix rather than a standalone version.

Free Will deserves to be heard in its full glory anyway

Well, the 808 mix of Disappointed and FBI mix of Gangster aren't that bad... :)

Hmmmm bias there methinks ;) :D Yeah the 808 mix of Disappointed isn't too bad as well, worth a listen. You could easily make a CDR of Electronic mixes that would flow quite well IMO; top stuff!

Although I always thought the FBI Mix of Gangster was a bit of a cut and paste mix and they cut right out the magnificent album version intro  one of the best things about the original tune!
