I saw Skin live last night. Quite apart from the fact that she is a sex goddess second only to Melanie C, she gets full marks for playing Getting Away With It and it was an absolute belter. You can't say it's better or worse than the original 'cause it's so different. Nice job. Check out the re-released Fleshwounds but remember you can't beat the live experience. Certainly pisses all over Grace Jones' massacre of She's Lost control. Incidentally, does this make Skin the first person ever to cover the Lec?

Skin/Skunk Anasie where okay IMO and they were something different from the retro '60's/'70's Brit Pop (namely Blur, Oasis & Pulp) that was around at the time. Shame they split up and that Skin hasn't made much noise as a solo artist as she did have a good voice. Cheers!
