I've just tried to get this off aol, but apparently it's not availiable outside of US. Anyone know where I can download/buy this or other Monaco tracks?

Under The Stars is on the US CD (Polygram/A&M) of Music For Pleasure; you can pick one up for literally pennies on eBay. It's a pretty common CD so most auctions rarely manage to get off the $0.01 mark!
If yer after the Monaco b-sides, the MFP era CD singles also go for peanuts and are pretty easy to find online; well worth it as there are some cracking tracks hidden on them.
I must have the UK version of MFP without Under the stars and I live in Canada, weird. usually Canadians get US versions. Oh well like my PC+L doesnt have Blue Monday

So i've stuck MFP in to give it a listen after digging it out because of this thread. At the very end about 30 seconds after track 11 "sedona" finishes,Hooky says "Oi! You can turn it off now." Is this on the UK version?

From memory, yes, but I could have mixed that up with the Jap/US CD's?

Yup, it's on all copies of MFP.
The Japanese CD has Under The Stars tacked on as track 11 so the hidden sample is a few minutes after that ends. On the US release it's the other way around with UTS as track 10 and Sedona as the (proper) final track.
Hooky has a history of 'hiding' bizarre samples or sounds well into the silences at the end of his non-NO records. There's at least 2 instances of it with Revenge and about 4 with Monaco.
From what I can remember off the top of me head:
Revenge: One True Passion Live clip/crowd noise minutes after It's Quiet ends; very likely a Revenge or New Order gig.
Gun World Porn Answering Machine message minutes after Little Pig ends "...you won't believe what's been going on down 'ere so give us a bell." (?!)
Monaco: What Do You Want From Me?: French music and uncontrollable laughter minutes after the Instrumental finishes, possibly Hooky and Pottsy after an ale or two!
Music For Pleasure: "Oi, you can turn it off now" after Sedona.
Shine (someone who needs me): "..move yer bloomin' arse" woman's voice sampled from an old film.

Both albums have a running time of 52:31 minutes and are UK pressings, with Sedona as final track. In Europe it was - as far as I can remember - a bonus track on the French release only. Or they could've added it on later pressings...

I was referring to commercially released copies of MFP you can buy in the shops, not promos. Countries such as the UK, USA and Japan all have the hidden Hooky bit after their respective final tracks. If you have a UK pressing (non promo) minus Hooky's hidden outro then I'd say you have a rarity, it's on every copy I've ever come across.
The French pressing is a weird one because they added Bicycle Thief and Shattered on the end of it (no Under The Stars). I can't remember what they did with the hidden speech there but I'll look my copy out when I have a chance.
It's a boring Sunday so maybe I'll have a definitive answer by the end of the day! As far as I can remember I own:

If you're talking about the speech, then which copies are your saying that it's not on, or are you referring to "Under The Stars", which wasn't what Ally was referring to?
