i'd probably buy the record first because it's a Hooky project. But i can't really say i liked Monaco or Revenge. I do wish Hooky future collaborations will be greatest than his past side-projects. The man can do a much better work than what he did with these both bands. THis is a long time opinion i have about Hooky solo work - but even with Barney solo records. I know a lot of fans around here don't agree with this point of view.
i didnt like revenge at all and i loved monaco... i know im not going to find something like new order or monaco in freebass, but im almost sure i'll like it

I'd be far more excited by another Hooky project with David Potts, but Freebass may be fun--and with no more NO albums forthcoming, I'll take what I can get.
