What's the status of Freebass?

Hooky had previously hinted Freebass were gearing up to do some summer festivals but as most 2008 festival line-ups have pretty much been announced and the band don't seem to be on any of them... er, make of that what you will! :)
Something Freebassy for the autumn / winter perhaps? An EP or single on iTunes would seem to be the most realistic thing to hope for at this stage. I suppose it all depends on which vocalist they decide to take the band forward with ![]()
It would be good to finally hear some tracks that's for sure... Hooky's shown a lot of pride over the potential of Freebass so I'm personally quite interested in hearing what's been produced musically so far. Revenge had their moments and Monaco were superb overall so I wouldn't write off Freebass just yet ![]()
yeah, wot the fcuk happen? looks like at this point, it's all form, NO substance.
gets our hope altogether, and all we got so far is nothing but hot air... ![]()
gee, i wonder ![]()
its still being done, when ever they get a chance to do any stuff between dj gigs, but it is still a work in (quite slow) progress.
Not that i'll bother to listen to it, but ti does seem farcicial in the extreme, especially considering this was first mentioned before Sirens Call was released over three years ago.
Maybe this is Hookys version of "Chinese Democracy"?
Of course, with Mani helping waste everybodys time in primal Scream for the rest of the year, I presume that pretty much puts a dampener on things for 2008. And isnt there a New Primal Scream album out next year? So scratch 2009 as well.
If Freebass play a gig or release an EP (and not a Myspace demo before the end of, lets say 2011, i will personally buy young Alistair a pint.
