Bit dead in here so time for a random poll.

With the impending (we hope :wink: ) arrival of the Freebass album, what is your favourite non-N.O. album Hooky's been involved with so far? I know he's done one off collaborations with the likes of Durutti Column, Hybrid etc but I've picked the four releases that he was involved in most.

Quite a few Revenge heads on here I seem to recall...

Naturally I'll go with MFP as it's just a great pop album that flows really well. His finest moment so far... second would be Gun World Porn as the 6 minute State of Shock is brilliant.

hmm...tough one for me...I may be the only person that liked One True Passion, but Music for Pleasure has WDYWFM...I thought Gun World Porn was a steaming pile of dung...maybe I should dig it out and give it a listen again...

Music for Pleasure, although it's a close run thing with Monaco. I'm not keen on the run from "Buzz Gum" to "Billy Bones", the rest is solid.

Realy liked one true passion when it came out,, thought it surpassed electronics effort,, time though has not been kind and the last play sounded very dated,, electronic on the other hand lasted well. the first monaco effort was doubleplus good as bassking rediscovered his bass amplifier again and its worn well,, that said the live revenge album is good,,

Gun World Porn just edges out Music For Pleasure for me, but not by much. Everything has been pretty solid.

alright...so I listened to GWP, and it's not nearly as bad as I remember it being...still not as good as MFP...or OTP...

Agree,MFP was a great pop album.
