Peter Hook And The Light Unknown Pleasures

Ive been playing Unknow Pleasures by Peter Hook and THe Light Live in Australia. Its on Itunes and I am really amazed as to how good this recording is. Ive always been a massive NewOrder fan much more than Joy Division although I liked them. Ive really enjoyed NewOrder playing them again Tranmission and Isolation but at the same time would have prefered them to play NewOrder tracks instead. I am really impressed with this show though and I really regret not going to see them live. Ive played it every day for a week. I didnt think Hooky would have been a great singer but im well impressed the band have done an amazing job as well. My favourites are definatley Digital, Day Of The Lords which I give 10 out of 10 and Shadow Play they are all really good. Has anyone else purchased this and what do you think? Its certainly helped me restore Faith in Peter Hook. Hopefully if your reading this Jack you will also consider releasing Closer as well.Well done Peter Hook And The Light.

So technically, yes this should be in Music For Pleasure. I can't help wondering though, if some people are keen to point this out because they're cheesed off with Hooky rather than because it's really important that the thread is in the right forum. We're not that pedantic are we? The Spanish, Portuguese and even French speakers (Spotnic is French-Canadian, right?) have to make do with one forum for everything. How do they manage?! You could simply split the forums into (1) Everything directly or indirectly related to NO and (2) Other stuff (BCD, WIM, Buy/trade/sell). We might even be less likely to miss a thread that's currently in Music For Pleasure for instance, that we didnt know would interest us. Well just a thought...

It seems like the Hook-camp is really quite "If you're not with us, you're against us" these days. Shame.

Jack hopefully my "we're not that pedantic are we?" part of my post made it clear that I was politely suggesting it didn't matter which forum it was posted in. Quoting my "...should be in Music for Pleasure" out of context is a little misleading. But it should stand you in good stead if you want to become a tabloid jounalist at some point

Call it pedantic if you like, whatever. If there was only one forum then it would all be in the same one, but we do have specific ones so let's use them. Makes it a lot easier to find what you would be looking for. Why do you take everything so personally Jack?
