WTF? Hooky and The Light to preform New Order songs including Blue Monday!?

Sorry if there's already a post mentioning this, but I just saw on Peter Hooks site that they're going to be doing a tour with playing New Order songs, does anyone else find this very wrong? I mean I thought he didn't want to be apart of New Order, and that the point of The Light was a tribute to Ian and JD. I'm outraged really.

Although it might be interesting to see them preform the electronic tracks, I still think this is blasphemy.

I won't be sure about this until I see a statement from Hooky explaining why they're doing these songs.

Decided to get a ticket for the London show. I really enjoyed the thee Light shows I saw in 2011.

I'm going to go with an open mind. I think his voice suits the Joy Division stuff a lot better but it'll be interesting to see how Hooky & co tackle the New Order stuff.

Part of me hopes he'll eventually do a non album centered tour would be great to hear a set of songs from all periods of his career. Some JD, some NO, some Monaco.

Still annoyed I haven't been able to see New Order post reunion yet. Got into them the year they broke up so never got the chance to see them pre split. Whenever they've been playing London I've always had other commitments. One day...

If you want a LIGHT show, watch Pink Floyd
