Hi.

Whilst visiting Discogs.com, I noticed that there was a remix of Twist Of Fate that was offered as a freebie on the band's website:

Twist Of Fate (Reeder's No Fate Radio Remix)

https://www.discogs.com/Bad-Lieutenant-Twist-Of-Fate-Reeders-No-Fate-Radio-Remix/release/2742935

Seen as if that website is no longer operational, just wondered if anyone managed to snag this at the time. If so, any chance of a copy?

Also, I noticed that there was an Acoustic Mix of Sink Or Swim on a rare 7" that came in a limited box set. Does anyone know where I can go to hear a copy of this?

Any help much appreciated.

The mark reeder remix is available on the factory Benelux CD called Collaboration by Mark Reeder which is easy to get hold of. Very good it is to. You also get a few Bernard tracks on the album such as the original Crystal, Blank and Jones etc.

The acoustic mix was a 7" which was part of the deluxe package, not sure how rose to get this

Thanks for your reply. Actually, the Collaborator LP has the Synth Of Fate Remix, rather than the No Fate Radio Remix. They are different mixes. Somebody helped me out with that mix anyway, so I'm good with that one. Thanks anyway.

Still looking for the Acoustic Mix though. It's been pointed out that this might be the same as the one from the Songbook session that Bernard, Phil and Jake did. If so, I do have that mix. Anybody know for definite whether they are the same?

Resurrecting this thread rather than starting a new one, as I was revisiting the BL album and also came across two BBC sessions that the band did in promotion

BBC Radio 2 for Stuart Maconie (Sink Or Swim, Shine Like The Sun, Twist of Fate) - full band BBC 6 Music "The Hub" (Sink Or Swim, Running Out Of Luck) - acoustic (Bernard, Phil & Jake)

Did they do any more radio sessions ?

Apart from the two mentioned:

Radcliffe & Maconie Session, BBC Radio 2, 06/10/09 (Sink Or Swim, Shine Like The Sun, Twist of Fate) The Hub/Cerys Matthews Session, BBC 6Music, 13/10/09 (Sink Or Swim, Running Out Of Luck)

they also did the following:

Dermot O'Leary Session, BBC Radio 2, 17/10/09 (Sink Or Swim, Bizarre Love Triangle)

Three sessions (inc. interviews) in 11 days. Not bad going.

Thanks - I also found a French live session which must have been from the same month (but sadly the same two tracks as the Dermot O'Leary session)

Hmm, although I knew about this, I only thought they did Sink Or Swim, not BLT (as that's what I had in my archive). So, it was nice to see the second track. Thanks!

If we're talking video material, I guess we should include:

'Songbook', Sky TV, 05/03/09 (Love Will Tear Us Apart, Bizarre Love Triangle, Getting Away With It, Sink Or Swim) 'Ce Soir (Ou Jamais!)', FR3 (French TV), 28/09/09 (Sink Or Swim) 'La Session - Bad Lieutenant Chante New Order', Liberation, 30/10/09 (Sink Or Swim, Bizarre Love Triangle) (the session you linked to above)

The first one I don't think was advertised as 'Bad Lieutenant', as I think it was classed as a 'Bernard Sumner' performance. However, it features Phil and Jake, much like the session you linked to above. So, as good as BL, I would say.
