Just want to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on Monaco's Music For Pleasure and their self-titled album from 2000. With Music For Pleasure being the best "NO side project" album in my opinion and I hope Hooky eventually tours again as Monaco rather than The Light.

Monaco's M4P was Hook's finest output outside Neworder.
The self titled 2nd album wasn't as good but had a few highlights.
Not as good as Electronic overall but M4P and particularly WDYWFM ran them very close.
Some good B sides as well.
Barfly, Shattered, Bicycle Thief, Coming…
Anyone remember what a B side is?
M4P is probably the berst OutOfOrder LP after 'Electronic'. It's A Boy has sentimental value - I play it with my wife when I'm pissed. Love the optimism http://forums.neworderonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=3556&find=unread#post26607
Hooky played a brand new Monaco song at last nights Joy Division Orchestrated gig the the Royal Albert Hall, its called Higher Higher Higher Love
About bleeding time.
Will give it a listen when I get home.
Really wish Hooky would focus on making new music.
There are enough good songs from revenge and monaco and freebass for a nice concert .of 15-20 songs. Marine and Sedona are always nice . Peter and the Light play technique and republic in the USA in the autumn, with some JD likely ,but why not something else, something new . I love his side 3 , final 3 tracks from One True Passion. His voice and lyrics are awesome . And Bernard could make NO tour Dynamo, Twist of Fate, Poisonous Intent ,Split the Atom , Flicker, Warning Sign, Prodigal Son, Late at Night, Can't Find My Way Home, In the Ghetto, Turn the Heater On, Out Of Control, Miracle Cure, Feel Every Beat , Some Distant Memory, the last two from RTP, and Make It Happen ,and Transmission, and it would be as awesome as any NO setlist. Also i visit GB in september , and i pray Tommy Robinson is still alive ."I am Tommy Robinson ", maybe there are others that cherish freedom and know that life is a precious thing . I pray that Bernard and NO step up and call out the stench of islam that grips your great land . Think of Wm Wallace ,and what he would do , and finally ,is there anyone that stands for the glory of UK of GB , anyone ?? maybe the Queen needs to speak out .She is the only Royal with balls . I fully understand monitors not liking political passion , but you have huge piles of evil ,just as we in America, and that i may be forever silenced. somehow I trust Bernard to buck up and take a stand against the evil.

Shouldn't this be on the Morrissey forum? Idiot.

I really appreciate Hooky playing the albums - it was a highlight to hear Brotherhood in full a few years back. But yeah, make new music, our talented bass fellow. New one is a pretty good tune, I like it
Yeah, tape bias, i did read about Morrissey he is recently being someone I think i like, but i coudn't say anything about the smiths or morrissey's songs or even jonny marr, but for the 3 Electronic albums. The smiths song maybe called "nothing in particular " is the only one that i have any memory of. No more political posts from me.
