I know that avatars are only supposed to be 125X125, but how does one resize pictures to this size without loosing resolution?

Technically, the system should do it for you....!

That's what I thought, I just didn't want to submit a 640x480 avatar and have everyone lynch me. :p

I want to take a picture from my hard drive & use it as my avatar-i cant figure it out,when i click on browse i select the picture & hit submit,but it keeps gettin knocked back. Can you please tell me what i need to do-i know virtually nothing about computers except how to surf.:cry::shrug:

Ummmmmm....don't wanna sound too much like an arse to a good old scool NOOLer such as tourself sir, but there was a thread dedicated to this very subject.

Just provide a web link to your pic in your web profile.

Then go listen to the PARDISE demo and be happy...cuz that is kinda funny!!! (& because it's what I'm listening to at this moment...and thus it is on my mind)

...if you going to Google, option picture search, then click a picture, and the below half shows you the website, but the above half shows you the picture again; click it again, and when it stands alone with a http-addy, then copy this addy and paste it in the NOOL-line; you will see, it works...
