The "switch the fuckers off" option doesn't appear to be working. I cannot stand these things, they are too big and detract from the content. Nick?

and some avatars are way too big. i guess the final solution (as none of the others seemed to work) is to find a way that avatars wider than X and heigher than X shouldn´t be possible to upload. the feature that shrinks avatars never worked (at least for me) and the large avatars keep destroying the harmony of design. same goes to the "heavier than X k" ones. i saw one of 800k. that´s just insane!
Actually I think I fixed it now.
Eventually, moderators will be allowed to reduce the size of avatars...
