Seems like the post ranking system of these forums...

I have yet to find that out! I have entered the old New Order related ranks and they don't see to show up anywhere...

If you roll your mouse over them, they tell you the post ranking for that member, e.g. Top 10 posts, Top 25 posts, etc.

Also, the icon next to their name ( a microphone? a digital planet? a digital sperm? ) tells you if the member is online or offline. Roll your mouse over it and it will tell you last login etc.

Possibly in IE, but I'm using Firefox and am receiving nothing of what you report.

Even if you can't get that info, you can still tell if they're online or offline by whether the icon next to the name has color or is ghost-like...

Or is that another feature that only shows up in IE

The icon next to your name shows up grey for me.

How about now? The system showed me as offline for a moment there...

I had to log out and then log back on.

Coloured now, a blue-greenish hue, a bit like the planet Neptune.

However, yours shows you as being offline. Not sure why-- mine did too, even though I was online and could post. After I logged off and then back on, it worked right again. Spotnick's is doing the same right now (showing him as being offline when he's actually online).

Well, looks like it might have to do something with staying logged in continuously, I checked that box when I registered for the new forum, and now I just logged off and back in again, and voila!  Neptune rising  It's been a long, crazy day for me, I've had a couple of drink
