melly posted a link to a site that stops spam but i couldn't get it to recognize my gmail account and now i can't find the post to retry. i get over 50 spam messages a day (all of them bar a few a week in the spam box, but still) and i want to know if there's a way to stop them from getting as far as my spam box?

got an automatic mailing from the 'internet provider of sending them back spam addresses that make it through the various filters. An interesting option.

i've got norton, but it doesn't stop the spam from getting to my gmail account.

i'm begining to think that spam can not be gotten rid of. for some reason it makes it through to my work account even if the gate decides to insert the spam detected message.

Have a hotmail acount for 8 years...no spam, only give out to family and friends (close friends)....amazing how companies CLAIM they don;t give away your info, but yet on my other emailo account I get all sorts of spam???
