I'm after a recommendation for a drum machine.

I only use it as a sound module to send midi from the PC, and as a trigger pad.

So not bothered if its a bugger to program, I wont be programming on it, just after something with a good range of kits and a nice touch sensitive trigger pad.

Looking to spend about £70 on a second hand one off ebay.

My dead one is a Yamaha RY-20 and did the job, but would rather something with more kits.

cheers

Boss Dr Rhythm DR660 looking favourite at the moment, anyone got one?

I use a DR-5 for most of my stuff. Easy to use and has a lot of good preset sounds as well. Not a bad sequencer either!

I sequenced a 4 min blue monday on the Yamaha, my own arragement, the obv drums, both the bass melodies, and recorded real time percussion on the trigger pads. Took me about 10 hours to program all the data.

It was shite
