email addy change

When i try yo update my email addy on here i get the following message

The following error occured while trying to change your e-mail address There is already an account on this site with that e-mail address

Please enter the new e-mail address you wish to use, an email will be sent to this e-mail address with instructions on how to confirm your new e-mail address. Usually, e-mails are received within the next minute. If you haven't received any e-mail from us within the next 24 hours, please contact us so we can work this out.

Be sure to check your spam (junk mail) folder if you don't receive it soon..

anyone got any ideas?

Apart form changing your e-mail address not really. I often experience the same problem when uploading photos: i.e. It saying "a photograph with that name already exists" (and I know damn well it doesn't) so I've got to fart about changing the photo's name until it accepts it. I know you can't change an e-mail address as easily but maybe just keep trying (sometimes it'll eventually accept photo's it's previously rejected.)
