Nic, with this new menu there seems to be a short time-out when switching from one forum to another. It comes up with "operation timed out" and triggers a 404 very quickly if you try to go from Digital Republic to Buy/Trade/Sell or General Chat. I've tried this on 3 different PCs, one broadband, two dial-up modems and all in different locations, so it isn't me.

Also, (without wishing to find too many faults with the new menu) the transparency when using IE makes it impossible to read the menu heading - I preferred the old menu lack of transparency.

I can increase the opacity from 75% to 90% or so ;)

As for the bug, I don't think it's related to the menu, but to the hardware.. because those scripts can't really generate time outs, isn't it?

These menus are in beta, there is probably a reason why.. if you see anything, let me know.

Is it better now? (Opacity at 90%)

Ok I've seen it, when you go in the menu before the page is completely loaded you have a problem.

Weird though, I thought I had page buffering on...

I think the menus fix for safari is not quite right yet. The menus now show up, but the links don't work.
