A new series - started with PFD as it's on my desk so I don't have to haul my lazy arse across the room. "Turn that fucking light off!" :D

I've always liked Subculture. "This is costing us an awful amount of money in guitar picks, so I wish you'd applaud louder." ![]()
Just got the DVD. Expensive, but good exchange rate. Bet it comes out in this country soon!! PFD for me, although it's a stomping performance of Sub-Culture. I dig the Wang with the dancing hair! A sight to behold.

I think you be right. I stuffed on a minute ago. My girlfriend was less than impressed with the language! ![]()
The singing is very good (for 1985) on Pumped Full of Drugs - er I mean This Time of Night - whatever ![]()
Could've been any one of the numbers from As It Is to TTON, but went with Sunrise. Good stuff throughout the show is what made me have to think a bit about this one; fave moment is the look Steve gives the camera while walking offstage after Sunrise.
The poll is fairly accurate on this one, either Sunrise or TTON (I voted for the latter mainly due to the brilliant Barney intro remark) I've always been puzzled why this one has B&W footage...my theory was that it's some form of infrared camera...

P.S. Ooh, #400. only a few thousand down.
I voted for As it is...I like the ending.
Funny you should have brought this up as I have been listening to PFD and Sheffield 86 lately.
The whole of PFD is immense! I'd probably go for Face Up as its my favourite song off there, although TTON is very hauntingly beautiful.
Am I the only one thinking this is a fairly pointless poll?! ![]()
It's one thing asking which is the best DVD, but breaking 'em down track ... by track?! ![]()
What next? A bootleg listing, starting with Blackpool Scamps where we pick our favourite song from each gig?!
What a good idea. Yes it is a very pointless poll. Unless we are going to start a petition to beseech the band to start playing the "winning" track again ?!
99% of polls are pointless but if there relevant to NO then at least they keep the forum moving do they not ![]()
Might as well start a poll called "whose farts smell better, Hooky or Barney ?" then, hadn't we ? That's as relevant as picking the best performance out of the tracks on a live video. Is this what it's come to ?
Lets be honest until some new material comes out or a live performance occurs for us to "get our teeth into" metaphorically speaking, this forum is resigned to being a bit like skysportsnews during the season break....
I was in Japan 2002 - bought the DVD. Went to a pub, left a few hours later got back to my hotel and realised I'd left it behind. Bugger. Got a year or so later when I was back there again.
Oh and the poll maybe pointless but it prompts discussion and also a lot of people own it unlike various bootlegs some might have.
A concise and intelligent reply sir, I see it is your first post too, bravo and welcome.
However, to more weightier matters, what is the collective height of new order, in fathoms ?
:D

I have not deduced whether Tony Wilson (loafing in the dressing room on PFD) should be included in this measurement for the purposes of the PFD fathom calculation? ![]()

'Some' meaning Mike? Ah you have got to grips with this fact too huh! ![]()

Best not, his head was a bit bigger in those days

Thanks for the welcome - thought I'd sneaked in unnoticed ;) Been around a while just never got round to it.
Surely depth?
Is there any way to get this DVD in the US? Im dying to know what a mid 80s New order show was like.

Surely depth? You are right mate well picked up on, I obviously confused height with the circumference of the Order in fathoms ,my proof reader will be dealt with in a fitting manner
