Personally, I would have burned all of my New Order albums and bathed in sin...but a poll is a poll.

i'm not sure on this concept... "Weird" Al Yankovich replacing Gillian in a Bizarro universe version of New Order... and then they would start doing joke parodies of joke songs, but not parodies of New Order songs or parodies of Eminem??? would "Weird Al" replace Barney on vocals leaving Barney freedom to dance fulltime like Bez?

if weird al joined, the lyrics might get better :) ok, that was bad joke. ill go to my corner now. before i go, weird al should do a parody of blt, and call it bizzare love trapzoid or octagon. ok, now i MUST really go to my corner.

Bill Paxton is in the video for it and he produced/directed it. I didn't know it was beyond that wierd vid.

Not as wierd/cool as the True Faith video, which always reminds me of dancing drugs. (insert joke on my own personal drug usage here)

i agree. this one is far worse than any thread/poll i could come up with.

It's not a bad thrread, it's just a fucking nightmare of a thought. Here we have the possibility of the greatest band ever being pillaged with a cultural destroyer. Not a chance in hell that this perverted suggestion would see fruition. But it's bad, bad thought.

Might as well start a thread like "What if Yakov Smirnoff joined New Order."

 It's a funny thread... well, since they did Vietnam, let's go with the Afroman tune! :thumb: Just imagine Barney singing that! :D

Weird Al joining NO?

not even!

Don't get me wrong, I'm all on board for collaboration, but it would not rock in that case.

now dont knock weird al, I am a huge fan of him also. But him in NO, that would be a joke. Songs would be rewrote: love will tear us a fart: touched by the hand of Michael jackson: Fine crime: World(the price of gas): World in slow motion: Primative potion: and other no-so funny parodies I cant think of cos I am not that funny.

Plus weird al sold more albums than NO, take that.

Isn't one of the live versions of True Faith already like Touched by the Hand of Michael Jackson?

Not related to this topic, but why do so many people spell the word "weird" as "wierd" when it's blatantly incorrect? Honest typo or attempting to be different? Not trying to be rude or cause offense, just curious really. What's the deal on that? Is that just a new strand of lingo that is popular with the internet generation and/or under 20s?
