i beg to differ. I 99% of the case there old stuff outweights this centuries work, but this an exceptional. Wftsc is exceptional song, and during the him their still struggling for their identify.

my thoughts exactly
"The Him" could be great live with that powerful rush at the end, "WFTSC" not so. But the latter beats Hannett's miscalculations in the studio for sure.
Not hard that one.
I would expect WFTSC to be one of the last to go, owing to a combination of it's newness and the fact that it's a great track.
Not too sure about the video myself, but good to hear it's got it's fans.
Seeing as I've owned the Movement CD for years but I can't even remember which one The Him is, it's WFTSC for me. WFTSC is easily one of the best tunes they've written since Technique.
Seriously, I can't remember which one The Him is! ![]()

I've got the same problem with almost all Movement songs, so I browsed the NOOL songs database to find the lyrics to The Him and remember which song it is. Not a bad one, actually, and it gets my vote.
Went for WFTSC, not actually as tough a contest as it at first seemed... I have found myself liking The Him less and less as the years have gone by, while other tracks off Movement have gone up in my estimation... Had this been WFTSC vs Chosen Time, then it would have been a different story...

Very difficult... I put Waiting for the Sirens Call as it's a bit more 'accessible'. But The Him is a cracking early post-punk New Order track... really dark and menacing. I love it.
The Him is just, well, shit.
I would've actually voted Liar or Ecstasy in prefence to The Him. ![]()
Much as I love WFTSC, I will have to represent the old days by voting for all the Movement stuff. So The Him gets the nod.
Waiting for the Sirens Call. It will be New Order classic. Now they missed it's chart potentiality with that mess around 7"singles. Mesh is good, but grim.
WFTSC hands down to The Him. The him was extremely atmospheric in its days but WFTSC smashes through it
:bag:

Me neither, but that doesn't matter. Anything from Movement is better than any song from WFTSC.
