HTS, fabulous song. One of their best latter day recordings. Confusion - great beat just not so timeless. Love it in its own right, but against Here to Stay it's really not taking the cake for me.

Tough one this. Gone for Here To Stay as someone said one of the best songs during the GR era although Confusion when played in '98 gives it a run for it's money.

I do like Here To Stay, I'd probably vote for it elsewhere but I cannot believe it's giving Confusion a tanking...!

Confusion for me, although it's not a surprise to see it go out against HTS.

Voted for Confusion. Not sure why. I guess its the 1987 version that does it for me. HTS is a fine song but not a classic.

Think the over-produced Substance version might have done it for Confusion. But that's how I'm voting. Electro classic!

I didn't know about that connection. Makes sense though - it does have a Chems feel to it, now you point it out.

i've always love confusion but i think it took them a lot of time to get it right.

HTS is their redemption song and restored my faith in new order. They recapture the magic of the 80's and is a fine ode to their career. It also a perfect mix of sadness, and pop bliss, and that what new order is to me.

hts best song of this this century, and it has my vote.
