A very good cover but All Day Long is simply sublime in its arrangement, especially Hooky's lead bass at the end.
Turn da Heater On is the best romantic song New Order recorded, the type of song Bernard could never write
after all these years All Day Long seem too obvious emotionally, thou Hooky's bass is ace
Subject matter aside, I always thought All Day Long was a bit of an unpolished gem. Electro-styled drums, layers of keyboards and weird, dark C&W guitar riff. And Hooky brings it home like an old pro. Ace.

How apt, considering I am just about to go and turn the heater OFF, so ADL it is then... Tough one this, TTHO is an interesting experiment, and while I've never been as much of a fan of ADL as some, it has all the right ingredients, solid NO fare...

One of my favourites from Brotherhood from 1:47 onwards is New Order at their best and I haven't even mentioned the lyrics. Sheer class.
All day long is one of the best songs musically done by New Order.. the ending is SO GOOD, it tanks in my top 20 without any questions with Run and Lonesome Tonight.

Simply the bit where they rip off the music from "Nosferatu" makes it "All Day Long"!!
Check out the film - the scene where Jonathan Harker is approaching the castle and is given a lift in a spooky stagecoach...Fucking awesome!
ADL is a huge favourite of mine for many other reasons as well!
