WFTSC... Everything thats good about NO stuffed into 5 or so minutes... As much as I like the early stuff, DEH is not one of my faves...

i like some songs off WFTSC, but the title track is not one of them Doubts Even Here is amzingly haunting, and a great track
grrrrrr
A week ago I wouldnt have thought twice, but been playing DEH a bit this week.
I'll have to sleep on this one.

ok, WFTSC :)
DHE, 'cos it seems to be more authentic. WFTSC is good but looks like a kind of "academic exercise" or "summary" of NO.

WFTSC every time. This is everything New Order should be in the modern era...Hooky's bass is class, the beat, Barney's vocals....etc
i like both!!! however, if i had to choose the one song i could more easily listen to on a daily basis...WFTSC![]()
WFTSC is a lovely song, but a bit NO by numbers. DEH was the sound of a new band finding their feet, and creating something beautiful along the way. So no doubts here..... ![]()
Doubt Even Here: a great 'atmospheric' song as I like.
WFTSC: not a bad song but never do it. ![]()

100% agree ![]()
I'm having doubts (even here) whether I can remember exactly how Doubts Even Here goes
The bulk of Movement just doesn't do anything for me.
WFTSC is definitely one of their strongest singles and cut from the same cloth as True Faith, Regret, Temptation etc. It's endlessly melodic and plays to all their individual strengths; the guitar, hooky bass, keyboards and drumming all shine. Also, Barney's WFTSC vocal carried over to the dancefloor really well with the Planet Funk + Tribute mixes.
Classic New Order ![]()
