I've always found B&M a bit cheesy... WAS had the potential for great things, the PC&L version is a bit weak and wobbly, but the Peel Session shows how good it could be...

The producers for PC&L should be shot for what happened to WAS on the lp. But only after they retire and only with champagne corks. Live WAS is awesome. The Peel Session is really good. But the lp...

We All STand is at least a proper song rather than a TV jingle. Even if it is rubbish on record.

quite different tunes here, and I like them both. Since I have to choose though, it'll be We All Stand.

'Best & Marsh' was written as theme music to a TV football programme shown in the Northwest of England and was quite a catchy tune at the time but it has not aged well, while 'We All Stand' is not my favourite track of PC&L I'll vote for it on this occasion.
