Alright, the question we love to debate: Which version of LWTUA is your favorite?

...and as for me, I first heard LWTUA as in the 'Substance' mix, since it was always played on the radio whenever someone requested it. Otherwise, always loved the song.

For me though, it was all about 'Substance'. Though the BBC Session was good too!

:shine:Your making me so jealous ! Not only do you get all that sun where you live, while all I get is rain, and your obviously going to get your :angel2: while I'll be off to the big bad :evil3:, but your obviously too young to remember vinyl! It's enough to make a grown man . My favourite LWTUA is the original 7in version, scratches and all (which somehow always seemed fitting)!

Honey, this week's been freckin' cold! I got fookin' sick 'cause of it! Only by Wednesday did the clouds go see-ya-bye-bye! [Oh and, last week Friday we got hit by tornados for the second time in less than two months. :(]

For the most part, the weather's gonna kill me at this rate. At least I'm not as sick as I was Thursday. Not fun.

And yes, I mayhaps might as well be too young to remember vinyl. Though age 23's not too bad. Ah well.

You should try living in Scotland, this decade's been bloody freezing! Don't fancy the sound of tornado's but (although thanks to global warming we'll probably be getting some soon too)! Sorry to hear you've been feeling ill/a bit "under the weather" (sorry, I'll just pop out & shoot myself for such a dreadful pun), hope you're feeling better soon.

Wish I could let you hear the original 7in when I hear LWTUA now it doesn't sound right cleaned up/sans scratches.

One of these days I'll have to call you just so you can play it for me and I can hear it.

:\ohwell: ...just a thought.

I'd love to let you hear it, but that's part of the problem nowadays, it's really hard to find decent supply's, my deck no longer has a needle, & I can't track one down (I've a terrible suspicion they're no longer produced). But... When I get a deck sorted I'll give you a call! In fact when I get a usb deck I'll convert it to MP3 & send you it (just don't tell anyone).

Wicked smashing, in a good way. 'Cause it *cough*finally*cough* dawned on me that we don't even have each other's numbers! :banghead: Sheesh, ain't I so smart an American or what!?

... yes, it's official. That made no sense, that last sentence. Shame on Sunny.

always preffered the 12"..used to boom out of the speakers and very clear no scrathes on that!

as for order playing it live ,as its now got a different "interpretation" does this count as another version to when they played it in the 80S?

something so pure.

I would definitely think so. Same band, just a switching of members. That's why I added that option up there.

Definitley 'Substance' version. Though the other ones are good too :)

...Although Barney's excessive 'whooping' during LWTUA can get quite unnerving...

Where's the Trousers Remix and the Literal Mix? These two are my favorite LWTUA versions, each being 7 minutes long.

Anyway, from the list, i'll probably go for Permanent Mix.

Indeed!
