I've been listening to YSF quite a bit recently on the Peel CD but still have to vote for Regret.

if i recall correctly, these are about the same results as last year. I believe YSF went farther than regret. The tiebreaker rule sucks.

Ties suck, hopefully there won't be one, but at least the tiebreaker rule is based on something real-namely the results of a top 10 poll done last year. I've used that to do the seedings, and the higher seed has won about 92% of the matches in this tournament and in only one match did a team seeded more than one spot below its opponent win-that was a #6 over a #3. So, the seedings are pretty darn good.

Last year, Temptation beat Regret in the finals. Regret, only the fourth most popular song on this site (and in danger of not even making the semifinals here) was in the finals! A very one sided final, too. Ceremony, the second most popular song on this site, didn't even make it to the semifinals last year! This is because the fixtures were somewhat random last year. This year, at least we should get the two "best" songs in the finals, and hopefully a more competitive final match. I do think that Temptation, Ceremony, and The Perfect Kiss all have a chance to win this thing.
