Dont know which version of Temptation is up for voting but gone for Regret as its one of the best songs ever, by anyone.

It's your favorite version of each song. I'm with you on Regret but it's gonna get crushed. 
It's always easy if the other one is The Perfect Kiss, because it's so special but this one is too hard, i give up.
Hmmm, I've posted this so many times on here, but I believe that Regret is possibly the greatest POP song ever, but, at heart, I'm not really a pop person, so Temptation gets it, helped enormously by the fact that the 87 version, though a bit on the long side is nice and shiny and POP as well... The original 12" is still the definitive Temptation for me though, pretty much summing up NO early-mid 80s - so many ideas crammed into one song, threatening to but never quite fully falling apart, and gloriously, heart-stoppingly, jaw-droppingly uplifting...

Ah, I love all the 87 mixes. Substance was the first NO CD I bought so those are the deinitive versions for me, wrong as that may be. Anyhoo, I voted Regret here knowing full well it would get crushed.
