Very tough choice between Twisted Tenderness & Music For Pleasure, but I guess at the end of the day Hooky's basslines are just too good and get my vote.

i think we´ve been here before, have we? anyway, my fav is TT although i liked very much one true passion.

Maybe this has been done before, but I don't check these pages regularly and was just interested.

Cheers

My vote goes to Mr.Hooky, MFP !

As much as I lurv Mr Hook, I think Electronic wins this by the proverbial mile, with the Monaco stuff then slotting neatly in its wake. I would have to place the 2nd and 3rd Electronic albums bottom of the pile.

PS. Should 'Back To Mine' actually be here?

Tough call - i've gone for Electronic because its the one I've listened to most. Only just ahead of Twisted Tenderness and Music for Pleasure

A tie between Raise the Pressure and Twisted Tenderness... :banghead:

Twisted Tenderness, definitely! One of my favourite albums ever.

I'm sure I voted Electronic the last time. But Twisted Tenderness is the dogs bollocks, so I'll probably go that way this time:nod: Any album with genuine crackers such as Vivid, Haze, TT, Late At Night, Prodigal Son & Flicker deserves praise......although I still haven't grown to CFMWH:lol: Fantastic music and superb lyrics.

Electronic's first. Barney at the very top of his game.

Twisted Tenderness--Barney is back in style.

Favorite from start to finish? I chose Raise the Pressure. Lot of work went into this one and just sounds really polished.

I remember listening to Electronics Raise The Pressure album for ages, since the day i bought it. Rock and Techno Do Mix Together Well.

Debut Electonic album for me. When i bought it (about 13 years now?) i thought it really did sound like a cross between The Smiths, Pet Shop Boys and New Order. Special mention for Steve and Gillian and Peters' great work as well.

Can't recall any sound I don't like on "Electronic". And that's after all these airplay I've given this one!! So hats off to Johnny, Bernard and those Pet Shop buddies.

Well, I can only repeat myself here :)

I still admire Electronic's first album. But I remember when "Raise The Pressure" came out it sounded kinda out of date - those synth rhythms were left a few years behind, it didn't sound like 1996, though the very melodies were superb and awww so beautiful!!

Electronic.

12 years on and sounds as good, if not better, than ever.

Actually, technically I could say it IS better now, as I bought it on CD acouple of years ago which included Getting Away With It, which my original cassette version didn't.

i would've said "raise..." but it reminds me one of my worst summers ever and so it has been tainted. TT by default

"Music For Pleasure" is my favourite. The closer a side-project can get of being the "real thing" (New Order).

Monaco , still play it

No question. The first "Electronic"-Album.

The Other Two & You for me:thumb: I really like Gillian's voice & the songs work for me

I went with Raise the Pressure. Other 2 & You is very underrated, though. Unfortunately, I can't find Superhighways, Monaco, and Back to Mine. Not wiouth spending 35 bucks, anyway.

i]Electronic-Electronic, Still one of my favorite things to liston too. Somehow barney sounds most like himself on it? maybe he was more relaxed or more into what he was doing, he just didn't sound like he was tryng too hard?[
