The Canadians had their chance, back in 1781. The Articles of Confederation (which were replaced in 1788 with the Constitution for the United States)anticipated the merger of the 13 original colonies with Canada. Sadly, the Canadians chose to go their own way.

Ok,bush isnt perfect but the War on Terrorism can only be a good thing. You americans dont get it at all,apart from Timothy McVay & 9/11 (both horrific i admit),you know nothing about it. Europe has suffered for years with it & if Bush and Blair are gonna stop it good luck to them,at least they try-it cant be easy trying to protect the world & gettin slagged off for it.

The situation in Haiti is being fueled by an angry radical rebel group that could be paid by the US, but that is definitely not likely; Haiti doesn't have oil. Haiti has continued to plummet in poverty, and many Haitians have escaped to hte richer country of the Dominican Republic. I truly believe that the rebels exist for the reason of the crippling poverty that the country is enduring. Sure Bush wanted Aristide gone, especially because of his former anti-American tendencies in the past. A war against democracy? Heck no, Aristide is a shady character that decided to leave Haiti from international diplomatic pressures since the foreign community feared a serious civil war between the rebel group and Aristide. He plunged his country further into economic squalor.

The U.S.A. needs to be liberated from our own represive and brain washing government and also from corporate influence. but what the hell do I know?
