1 Barney at his melancholic best, a cracking bittersweet song. This takes me back to splitting up with my first love, and always playing this when I'd had a few beers too much and belting out the chorus with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other

5 My Power Corruption and Lies album, bought as a sweet and innocent 13 year old, my first New Order purchase used with my paper round money, the poor old thing is warped to fuck, but it still plays, scratched a bit - but it doesn't jump. What a cover!
- Cool synth/keyboards, interesting lyrics
- For some reason I always felt it should be near the beggining of the album. I dunno.
- I've always liked it as well with the rest of Republic. Not my favorite track on it but I never seem to skip it. 4.75%
- Hmm...I guess my live "Peel Sessions" record (vinyl). Given my age and geography in regards to New Order's location it not an everyday item.

I have to agree with Tim on this one (1-3). Pretty lame song. I give it a 15% because I listened to it all the way through once, unlike most of the other crap on the album. As for #5, my sundry JD bootleg collection (on mp3) and a certain HATYM video that Jeff the Hero sent me a few days ago.

- The fact that it comes as a welcome relief after the rest of Republic.
- Nothing really.
- Love it. It's one of the three tracks (along with Regret and Avalanche) which made me keep faith with Republic at all - I'm glad I did, cos I quite like it some days, now. Except "Liar", which is the shittest of the shit.

Its another point of view which you wont share but i'll defend the lyrics until my dying day. IMO its the most emotional song Barneys ever sung... 
The finale, really builds to an emotional crescendo and concluding verses are just brilliant.
Stuck on Republic, though at least they got the sequencing right (would not be nearly effective if it was early on side 2 or stuck in the crap that littered side 1).
Incredible lyrics, truly beautiful orchestration, one of the few songs on Republic that features a nice, if subdued Hooky on Bass, interesting drum work. Excellent vocals.

1 Best Bit hyper melancholic, excellent orchestral momentum at the end.
2 Worst Bit nothing. this track is perfect.
3 Love / Hate it? along with Regret, the best track in the album.
