well, being a new new order fan i don't know it (yet)...but i'd like to kill Jamie Oliver by picking him up with a crane, swinging him round and round til he's quite dizzy and worried, pretend to put him down then dropping him in a bug vat of cement. When he's solidified, he will be placed in the centre of trafalga square as a warning to all other mockneys. Alwight guv? pukka!

Best thing about this song is the lyrics, plus the tempo.
Worst thing is the back-up vocals, or are they double-tracked? Just a minor annoyance IMO.
Since it follows As It Is..., it inevitably pales a bit in comparison, but is still a fine slab of classic NO.

Death of JO? Remember the Monty Python skit about being eaten by crocodiles? Marinate him in some lemon juice for a tempting taste treat for the reptiles.
1 a good fast paced rock song 2 could have had a clearer sound 3 I like the way it builds up and i really like those little "ah ah" (dont know how to describe them)sounds in the background near the end. 4 83% 5 street justice

Congrats, Major, on the 1000th post. I saw Shug's post about his computer problem. Say Hi for me if you chat with him, I haven't been around in a couple weeks.
Some lovely instumental work all the way thru the song
Haven't listened to it in ages, so I couldn't tell you anything bad about it
The chorus is pretty good

Actually, I was thinking of Way of Life when I responded to the query :D. I'll have to pop Bro'hood in this afternoon in order to form a valid opinion about Broken Promise....
Well, Broken Promise...uh..I gotta listen to this one
and, for total ignorance,
who is Jamie Oliver...although I do like the Street Justice method myself...but fill me in please

On a bootleg I've got of Tower Ballroom '86 you can hear some fucker in the background growling along to this...its well funny.

Best Bit--guitar before last verse Worst Bit--too short I have always loved this tune, I remember the first time I heard, it was on the radio one night and I cranked it up. Powerful.
Who the fuck is JO? Executioner needs to know before arranging the death.
