1- Best bit: The chorus "It takes years to find the nerve....." 2- Worst bit: I have to agree with Mr. Eastwind. What the heck is a "literasite" BTW? 3- I hate the nerve Big Fat Bob Smith had had a couple of years earlier in plagiarising this beautiful song with a very inferior ditty. 4- 70% 5- Major, tell your dad we have being waiting far too long for his next movie!

i'll add my comments tonight when i get back from the pub after watching United cane Olypmiakos and make sure i stick on technique while i reply.

Listening to the track while reviewing should be a mandatory clause eh Major u think? :D

Love it cause it comes in after the tragic fine time and precedes one of the songs with my all time fave lyrics, guitar, in fact one of my all time fave tunes :)That harminca sounding thing.

Best thing about it is the intro, Hooky's bass, plus it's fairly short.

Worst thing are the lyrics.

It's an okay song, and I don't have it on many compilation tapes, just listen to it when playing Technique.

Best Bit: The opening vocals, the chorus, the guitar playing

Worst Bit: One of the rare songs where I simply don't like the bass playing. Doesn't work for me in this.

Why I love it: Love the lyrics, for the most part, love the confidence of the song, it sounds like a man whose come to terms with himself and in Ian Curtis' words, "...[isn't] afraid anymore...". Love the song.

Seems that the week when this song was reviewed is long past but anyway, just in case:

1. Best bit: the lyrics, the main bass riff (for the rest part, the bass is doing a bit too many solos, even for hooky), the vocals, the drums;
2. Worst bit: the synths in the middle of the song, the guitars - both of these are quite tolerable though and help make a great song;
3. The chorus makes a perfect soundtrack to drinking yourself silly and singing along.
4. Rating: 98% - but I'd give this to just about any NO / JD track on earth (maybe apart from Bizarre Love Triangle);
5. Who is Major Tarantino? Pardon my ignorance.

I sorta have to agree with you. It never really grabbed me either. I always found it a bit pedestrian & ordinary for a NO song.

1. The chorus and the awesome melodica solo
2. The weird bit about "literasites"
3. It's upfront, aggressive, straightforward, concise, catchy and inspirational
