Passable pop song. Never been huge into Electronic, though.

I can't believe Chris Marker did the video for it, though. Absolutely typical video for the time period...would've thought someone as creative as Marker would spice up the formula somehow.

I quite like this one. Shame it was done in Electronic and not NO. I don't regard Electronic as "Electronic". It's just Bernard Sumner as a solo artist to me.

  1. Best Bit I think Neil Tennants vocals fit in really well.

  2. Worst Bit Didnt like the vid or cover artwork too much.

  3. Why you love/hate it... A supergroup you can actually admit to liking.

  4. Percentage rating 90%

  5. The biggest waste of money you ever spent My new garden path. Installed by a complete monkey who did what I wanted to the letter without thinking it looks like shit and maybe telling me this.

As a side point. Wasnt it written by Neil Tennant and its actually about Morrisey?

Um...No, Barney and Johnny wrote the song, Neil just did the backing vocals. I actually bought the debut Electronic album, it's ok, it's like New Order without bass.

  1. Best part is opening and closing parts/melodies
  2. Worst is the "i love you more than you love me" part gets a bit tiresome/whiny.
  3. Sumner, Marr, and Tennant. Kind of lost its relevance unless if you are an 80's/early 90's dance-pop geek.

  1. The few seconds leading up to the second time they do the chorus, followed by, of course, the chorus. Pure gold!
  2. The ending. I like it, but it's my least favorite part of the song.
  3. It's a brilliant pop song.
