Well...all the Mexicans with any athletic prowess have already made their way across the border and are now hard at work building houses, processing dead animals into food, and doing all those other great jobs that they are taking away from Americans...

yeah...what the fuck ever...

I'm pulling for Mexico...

Yes.

Great to see Oswaldo Sanchez play, after a tragic personal week, it was a very entertaining match.

I found myself watching the Univision broadcast after awhile, I think just about everybody knows about the political issues of Iran. Plus, I always like to hear the national anthems of the two countries; ABC/ESPN has, and will, skip airing most of those.

I watched this match at the pub. They put on Univision and IN CAME THE MEXICANS.

It was a really exciting game.

In the US as other people have said the more exciting matches are shown on Univision because the American commentators on ABC and ESPN have no fucking clue what they're talking about.

I had to piss off my wife and root for Mexico here (she has a Persian name). Then I rubbed it in when they won. I had to promise to root for Iran in the next game though. At least I know they're not gonna advance.

Anybody else see Lavolpe (the Mexican coach) puffing away on a cigarette during the match. FIFA did as well, they want him to stop it, as "players and coaches have to be role models" *cough, cough, cough* (and not from the cig smoke either)
