Gary the non-national anthem singing Neville reckons it will be like a Premiership side taking on a non-league side in the FA Cup.

Fuckinell Gary...if that's the case, then i hope its not like the first Burton Albion match last year. that would give us just a point today then.

I'm doing 4-0 at the Bookies today. can't see a problem. its high time England clicked into gear at this world cup. Fuck it...i think i'll do 5 - 0 as well, i'm mega confident. Crap odds of 7/1 on 4-0.

I predict 3-1, or on a good day 3-0, or on a bad day 2-1; either way Ver Land should win...

I also reckon Rooney will come on for the last 20 mins... risky business though; he should be left on the bench until the group stage is over.

P.S. Hope we don't see anymore idiots running around with inflatable Spitfires!

At least he's not playing so the occupants of row Z should be safe for this one.

Got a niggling feeling that we're going to get some sort of dodgy ref descision against us today, don't know why!

NI humped these buggers 3-0 in Trinidad, even with Danny Sonner in the squad so England should win about 7-0.

obv you dont know your footy mate

Gary Nev is great at hitting the ball into the superbly named 'corridor of uncertainty'

Just a shame the England strikers are uncertain where that corridor actually is..

Crap odds of 7/1 on 4-0?? My, but the English public are very confident, aren't they?

England couldn't even score a single goal in their first match...TnT held the Swedes to no goals, so where do you get that Eng-er-land should win by a touchdown?

As soon as England's opponents stop scoring on themselves, the Three Lions might have some trouble finding the net.

I am recording the match, on the off chance that mr. Crouch scores a goal so that Stephanie can see...well, the Crouch...

Fookinell...Becks is grinning like the cat that ate the canary...smiling at Yorke...grinning at the little kid...did Posh give him a blowjob right before the match?

For the match itself, indeed. Got a laugh out of Eric Wynalda's comments just now though, about Crouch's shot on goal. "This is what a stork looks like with it's feet in the mud".

Well...England have managed to pull out another 3 points despite not looking good for the first 82 minutes of the match...

of course, England have allowed 3 fewer goals than the US team (and have played twice as many games)...

Who do you lot reckon was the man of the match?
