I never get how a country can have a foreigner coaching their national team.
I mean, ok if your country is #83, but there is a point where you should rely on your own people, no?
To me it just says that the English FA are saying no one in England has a clue.
Personally, if I were a football manager in England I would find that insulting.

Welllll... to be fair to the FA, at the time, we had had Graham Taylor, Glenn Hoddle, and Kevin Keegan.
I can't remember there being one single decent English choice available after Keegan. I believe Bryan Robson and Dave Bassett were mentioned then.
