Fair play to the lad, he came in for a lot of stick over the summer but has answered it in the best way, on the pitch.

By the Portuguese newspaper Ronaldo has best promoted football across the world on the International scene. How over Mourinho not sure.

Best player. Given time maybe- Ronaldo is good but not the best while Zidane is still taking air in and out his lungs. Years past, didn't both Both Brazillian Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane get FIFA player of the year 3X each. Owen Hargreaves Bayern if he can not! get injured so much think also, is one to watch.

Aye, used to think he was a cunt, but he's done absolutely fucking amazing for me and my Fantasy Football. Came back from about 16th to top 5 in NOOL Premier I do believe :D

Exceptional player. Along with Drogba (and Paul Scholes as well imo) the best player in the Premiership this season.

Will probably go to Madrid or some such within a couple of years though.

I want to hate him but it is difficult because the bloke is pure class.I saw him against Reading last Saturday on the box at the airport flying back from the Sunderland game and although their were loads of Southend fans wanting Reading to win a round of applause went up when he did some of his tricks. Just remember though the mighty Shrimpers kept him quiet when we beat Man ure 1-0 at Roots Hall in the cup :laugh:
