A last minute winner at Anfield when down to 10 men to go 12 points clear at the top and punch Chelski in the gut? Does it get any better than that? Utd were mediocre but defended well and are always capable of grabbing a goal. John O'Shea    Morinho :dead:

And perhaps if you lot weren't a bunch of lucky, dirty, cheating, time wasting (from the 2nd minute), official intimidating cunts, then you'd be worthy league winners and less people would hate you...

:abovelol: if we'd have lost it would have been a fair result - however life isn't always fair...

When was the last time you had us over in the prem again Jak? oh yeah 2001...

To be fair, lucky as fuck but i'll take it. Think you've got a major problem there, in that Rafa isn't up for the job-ok so you won the champions league, but thats carried a lot of weight for him.

If you'd lost 3-nil in istanbul would he be in charge today? Liverpool, a team that (i hate to admit this!) was the best team in the country right through the 80's never made the transition to the prem and have never won it in 17 years.

Maybe you should start buying some players who can deliver at home and not only in europe?

Barca will fall on your sowrd tomorrow though i think.

Perhaps we will, now we're being backed by some serious money.

Bollocks, the attempt to stop the thread morphing sideways into the next screen fucked up and took half Hank's point away!

The gist of it was that Liverpool didn't lose 3-0 in Istanbul, so "what if" is irrelevant!

I wasn't having a go at Liverpool. I support Utd, but admit They pulled off nothing short of a miracle to come back and win from 3 nil down.

if i was having a go,i'd point out they seem to only win if it comes to peno's. but im not. Most of my mates support Liverpool (and are season tix holders) and are of the opinion that if they hadn't won that match that Rafa probably would be gone by now,as would Gerrard and the club certainly wouldn't have just been bought.

No-one's yet pointed out the delicious irony that John O'Shea is, in fact, a Liverpool fan. :shades:

Well, as much of a 'fan' as you can be when you're not actually from that country, let alone that city, but you get the picture.
