Once a Season, me and a few mates do a jolly boys outing to watch saints loose away from home. This season it is Stoke.

It started a few years back when on one cold and miserable Tuesday night we went to see us get our arses arses kicked 5-2 by Watford. It was actually quite an entertaining night singing our hearts out to chants like "We want our money back", "Can we come ans sit with you", "sack the board@ etc

Last season was QPR, we lost and it was the last game Theo Walcott playeds for, this was the turning point in the season and playoffs were well out of reach.

Tomorow morning, me and 16 chums are getting picked up 8 o'clock, and heading up to Fradders county. We will probably spend 3 hours on the bus on the way up, 3 hours in the pub 3 hour sat the match and 3 hour comming home again.

I am making sure i am wearing different underpants from the last 2 years so I don't jinx it again.

Hopefully we will thrash them 5-0 and be well in with a promtion chance.

Heres dreaming

We have you on the last game of the season and due to my brother's 40th we too will be having a jolly boys outing. Where's the best places to go in the evening,we may need some cheering up as it is possible that we could have been relegated by 5:00pm......or ofcourse we could be celebrating:thumb:

Amusingly, our last away of the season will be at your gaff!

Doubt I'll be able to get a ticket, things will be going right to the wire by then, but here's hoping.

Already had ShottonFTM from here drop me a line about getting him a ticket for our gaff on the last day of the season cos it's Sunderland's last away and could yet be an automatic promotion decider!

Town centre has usual mix of standard pubs

Wetherspoons followed by walkabout would guarantee you cheap beer and lively evening with either a band or disco.

If you fancy something less ubiquotous let me know what sort of thing your after and ill try and come with a few ideas.

Ocean village has 2 new poncyish bars and a marina

Bedford place area has studenty pubs + kebab / curry houses houses galore.

Cheers, we are hoping for a bit of a pub crawl followed by a late curry or club.We are not over fussed with trendy bars/clubs.Are the pubs open late ie..Walkabout or are there any 80's/indie clubs etc?

What will probably happen is towards the end of the night some will end up at Bedford place in a curry and the others in some dodgy pub/club.

Thanks for your help I am organising it and want to make sure my bro has a great weekend as it's his 40th.The game is on the Sunday so we will be staying the night before.

First time you've been out of the bottom three all season, isn't it?

We, however, are absolutely fuct. 5th in mid October, to this! In total freefall now. Definitely doomed.

Oh well.

yes I can't remember us being out of the bottom 3 at all:confused2: The game last night was awful and no team looked like scoring in a million years(you probably don't want to hear that)but when Foran our signing from Motherwell came on in the last 15 the game changed a little and he took the goal well deep in to injury time. What is your run in like?our's isn't too bad if playing against teams at the bottom is the key.I know we play you at home,we also have Barnsley at home and Hull away so all 6 pointers....oh and the biggest game of all so far LEEDS at home this weekend! We certainly aren't out of anything and it is still 50/50 (maybe worse odds for us) in my opinion if we stay up or go down. If you come down to Roots Hall pop in the Spread Eagle next to the ground for a beer :thumb:

We've got you, QPhaha and Burnley, all away. But it doesn't really matter who we've got, can't pick up a win for toffee at the moment. We even played a centre-half up front last night and left two forwards on the bench. Then again, Newell has always said he 'doesn't do tactics'.

HATS OFF AS LUTON ARE RELEGATION FAVOURITES...... Luton Town are now 5/2 joint favourites to finish bottom of the Championship and 4/7 to go down with William Hill who make them 5/4 to stay up. Hills also make QPR 5/2 joint favourites to finish bottom with Leeds at 7/2; Southend 4/1; Barnsley 5/1; Hull 10/1. QPR are 4/5 to go down, 10/11 to survive; Leeds 4/7 and 5/4; Barnsley Evens and 8/11; Southend 11/10 and 4/6; Hull 2/1, 4/11; Burnely are 6/1 to go down.
