Torres will be no better, every time Liverpool sign a new player they roll out the "This will be our year" speech. Didn't we here this a couple of seasons back when they signed Sorry Morri. Big player who did fuck all and was shown the door.

I could understand if Liverpool were finishing the season right on the coat tails of Chelsea or Utd, but how far behind was it, 23 points? that is a long way off and its not like Chelsea are gonna sit back this coming season.

A goal every 4 games wasn't bad considering he wasn't an out and out number 10
So we've lost 12-15 goals a season, meaning that Torres will have to be a 30+ goals a season striker

Would have kept Garcia, always capable of scoring a goal from nothing. Always managed get the important goals against Chelsea which was always pleasing. Torres i'm not so sure about, far too expensive and was pish against Motherwell's Stephen Craigan. Should have went for Tevez who seems to be heading to Manc land.
