:\ohwell: I already get knackered with the stairs to the Upper Annie Rd!!
Bet it doesn't take ten years, four planning applications, two public enquiries and a judicial review to get built...
Haven't they announced this kind of thing before?
a ground share with everton and all the rest of it.
I liked the bit about having really narrow seats to get that squashed atmosphere, just like the Kop used to be. Nowt to do with more bums on seats! ![]()

It'll take 10 years to be built cos the diggers, jcb's and tools will be gettin nicked from the site every night.
I hear its 60000 capacity with the option to increase this. If the bin dippers have such a huge fan base then why not go ahead and build the larger ground?

Hope you get one on each side for the season.
And not jealous at all, who'd want a ground in L21? Ironic location really, will they be erecting a blue plaque commemorating the site where so much violence has been meted out by Liverpool supporters over the years?

L21 is Litherland, I think. I'm in Crosby, that's L23.
The reason we're only starting at 60k is due to planning retraints. It'll probably need the reopeneing of a branch line, with a new station, before we can get upto 76-78. Which could actually happen before we move in.

No judicial review but it'll be ten years and numerous planning applications by the time it opens. Haven't had to deal with bastard Prescott but plenty of Bluenoses on the City Council.
