Hi - Just got back from Italy ( Village was a little behind on the internet front!)so been missing all the chat..

A great start for you then - GOOD STUFF - I might put a small wager on the Canaris this season (I need some extra cash).

We got beaten on the first day but won during the week in the league cup.

I think we will do ok and hopefully be in contention for promotion come the end of the season.OUR SUPER STAR FREDDY EASTWOOD   has gone to Wolves and we haven't been able to replace him.We have a great keeper,ok defence, the best midfield in the DIVISION but as for our forward line:crazy:

I am off up North tomorrow to watch the Shrimpers play Leeds. Fingers crossed as it will be a very difficult match for us.

GOOD LUCK AGAINST LE HAVRE:thumb:

How very rude of you:nono: It is only to be expected though from a Celtic fan:p

Although the bed looks comfortable I will have to decline the suggestion as I am happily married (well as happy as anyone can be):D

Please do not interfere between Anglo French relationships

COME ON YOU MIGHTY CANARIES AND SHRIMPERS:clap:  :thumb:

A former Dutch Shrimper died last August in a car crash in Spain - Jeroen Boere, who was only 39. He played for my team (Roda JC) as well.

That's right very sad indeed. I understand after leaving Southend (he scored 25 goals in the league for us)he went to Japan where he was scoring goals for fun.He went for a night out and got involved in a fight which left him blinded in one eye and he also got stabbed in the shoulder so had to give the game up.

The bloke had a terrible time and now this......

ok so we lost:banghead: but I am not taking it too badly:banghead:

2nd played 3rd Sufc v Tranmere and I must admit it wasn't a very good advert for the division.

How's my mate who is also married? - hope you won!

Nantes managed to come back from Dijon with one point (0-0) after a very poor game... But we're still on the top of the ladder:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: We have a two-week break ahead of us now... Back soon then :thumb:

Cheers, sorry about the tragical death mentionned above, :rip:

Yesssss! Another great victory (2-1 over Ajaccio), Nicolas Goussé scoring at the very end of the 2nde half:clap:  We're still at the top

And we my friend are 3rd only 2 points from the top after a win away Saturday against Northampton.

Off up north to Nottingham Forest tomorrow night to watch the Shrimpers (tickets are only a £5 tomorrow:) for all supporters. A big crowd is expected as forest are just below Southend in the table. A very difficult game but we are playing well.

I have satanta sports at the moment and I can watch French football. I saw Lens v St.Etienne in a bizarre game. St.Etienne were 2 - 0 up and flying (Lens were terrible 1st half) only to end up losing the game 3-2 with Lens scoring 3 in the 2nd half.

:( :( :( We were defeated for the 2nd time this year (4-0 in Boulogne) and were unable to defeat Angers yesterday evening (1-1). The outcome is that Le Havre has joined us on top of the ladder. Come on boys :boxer:

Not good especially against lowly Boulogne but I am sure it is just a short blip and the Caneries will be back.

I am off to watch the Shrimpers at Roots Hall today against Cheltenham town. I hope the Nantes v Boulogne game was not a bad omen for us because we are 5th (only 3 points behind top place) and they are bottom!!)

Shrimpers & Caneries seront bientot ou ils appartient!!!

Good on ya - At the moment we win one:clap: and then lose one:cry:

We have some big games coming up if we are to make the play offs which I still think we can do as long as we stop leaking silly goals at the back.
