Respect to Jose for resisting making a twat of the post-match interview by claiming that it was a fair penalty. Scored many more points for honesty. And one for the draw, of course.
yeah that match was hilarious for it's bullshit.
especially since it left only one club with a perfect record in its aftermath.

He just lost it. Whistle would blow and you really couldn't guess what decision he'd made. And that was even before the penalty.
I pity the poor Div 1 teams who get him next weekend.

A free kick 35 yards out that then needs an amazing finish to score from is somewhat different to being handed the chance to beat the keeper from the spot.

Maybe they didn't deserve the penalty, but you take what your given. If the score had been the other way around and he blew in favour (right or wrong) and threw Liverpool a lifeline they'd have took it.
On the plus side, once Stiles realised his mistake (which one is anyones guess!) he didn't give the londoners an inch for the remainder of the match.
As always though, Rafa was the perfect example of how to conduct yourself and took the decision gracefully. Oh, and hands up - Torres' goal was superb.

I like how the post match interview he was so upset that his accent was a fuck of a lot more spanish sounding than it used to be.

The Hibbert sending off, whether justified or not, he was seen ready to show a yellow, Gerrard walks by, says something and then it's a red.
Kuyt's two footed lunge at Neville, a 'tackle' even which Kuyt himself admits could and should have earned a straight red, he lets go. Along with two penalty decisions, he doesn't even consider for Everton, one where Lescott is clearly being impeded.
It's not the first time Clattenberg has been at fault, to the mystery of nearly everyone, and what upsets fans is when he doesn't admit to his mistakes or even try to explain his reasons.
