I would have voted NO. The decision to get out of Goodison Park is right but Kirkby aside there's a shit load of places to stick a ground within Liverpool. Peel Holdings may still come up trumps but it seems ever more likely the new "Tesco Arena" will now be built.

They only voted yes cos their house prices will go up. At least Liverpool FC will have plenty of space for a nice new car park. The next few home games should be interesting..

Someone is telling me a percentage who voted yes were non-Evertonians. Who these faceless ones are I don't know. A simple yay or nay at the turnstiles would be a better indication of how the fans feel.

This was debated on a Luton forum - people had the impression you were only given a one-sided argument anyways. You know the type of thing - look how lovely this all is, you'd be a mug to say no!

Is this gonna be another new identikit footie ground in the middle of nowhere without a pub within five miles?! (But at least you'll have a Tesco's to get your weekly shop, and a cinema to watch a nice film straight after!)

Mind you after the performance yesterday I could have popped over the road and watched a horror show in comfort!
