Your first trip to the ground?
First crush on a City player?
First crush on a City fan, even ![]()
Come on, anything BLOO goes!
hahahhahahahha
wait.. when we win the league does that mean we'll get all the united and cska chelski supporters to jump on?
Woah!
Just managed to save this from falling off the bottom of the page ![]()
Come on then, who's joining the happy side of Mancunia?
Studying the stats for this season against last season shows that the percentage improvement in City's performance has been a massive 1027%.
If the same level of improvement happens next year we will be technically impossible to beat and will win all the major trophies, the World Cup, the Americas Cup and several WWF belts.
And that fat Spaniard who plays for Bolton will win the sumo ![]()
What the fuck's happened to yer left-back Garrido?!
Shirely he's gotta be better than this lad?! ![]()

I did go to the old ground , Maine Road, once. With my bro who's a Leeds Fan.City hammered them 4-0 , April 1992.But erm , Leeds went on to win the title a few weeks later. We were sat right behind that bell ringer woman![]()
So yeah ....what was the question again?
dad took me to maine road for my first division one game v leicester back in 69 i think, went many times over the years,, the only time irealy enjoyed myself was when city only needed a draw against luton to stay up and ended up losing 0.1 to a late goal,, and david pleat went running across the pitch..

we are off down to manchester centre at 3 for pre-game drinks.7.45 ko and its my first visit to city's new stadium.hopefully rovers can end the 9 straight wins for city and hopefully i wont be too drunk to get in :D
my worst memory at maine road was city giving us a 6-0 hammering about 20 years ago ![]()
I remember us going on a coach trip to Blackpool in about October 1978 , must have been about 10.Ashamed to say i was a bit of a Cov fan at that time and they were playing at Maine Road the same day.Kept wishing the coach driver would take a detour and take us to Manchester instead to watch the game.Man City won 2-0.
What was the name of that player who was one of if not the most expensive player at the time?....
Transferred from Wolves to Man City.Or was it the other way round![]()

Always been a City fan (after/alongside the mighty, the marvelous, the magnificent, Glasgow Rangers FC.)
Nearest I've been to Maine Road, or the City of Manchester Stadium, was when I went for a pint of Bitter in Manchester city centre while waiting for a train to Derbyshire in 1983. (I can safely say that it was without a shadow of a doubt the most disgusting concoction that's ever passed my lips! Reminiscent of drinking stagnant pond water.)
As I'm not that way inclined, I've never had a crush on any City players, but my favorite ex-player/s were Asa Hartford (a whole-hearted player as one idiot pundit put it), and Kinkladze, he was great to watch when he was on form. I suppose I better mention Mr C Hendry (although of the teams he's played for I preferred him playing for Blackburn. Where he'd do the least damage to City or the Gers, but probably where he played his best. Overrated in my not-so-humble opinion).
It's good to finally see City doing well again after all these years, (you just get to used to your team winning when your a Gers fan.) I'd love to see City win the league.

if you mean the game against LFC, then no, ive already given it to my father in law as an xmas present.
Went to Maine Road just the once about 5 years ago with my mate for City v Norwich.
We were in with the Naaarwich crowd, (Delia included) who must be the most unfashionable, nerdy support i've ever seen.
City won 3-1 and had the likes of Wright-Phillips, Berkovic and Huckerby running amok.
We had a few pints beforehand in a boozer near the ground, some dodgy, mean looking geezers in there i might add. ![]()

yea we did stop that run of man city home wins.even though we were shite again. a few blokes off our minibus started fighting young city fans under that bridge just below piccadilly station on the walk back to the centre, the youngsters of course followed us into piccadilly gathering in numbers and throwing cans and bottles at us.i found all this very disturbing to be bloody honest!!!
.anyway i dragged our lot to fab cafe after to lighten them up,and it worked, great night till 2 a.m. then minibus home.top night
they played roses, joy divison, banshees, and even new order.
o and man city sang to us at the match ,your just a small town in burnley.very original that
