Guess who turned down a free ticket to the Arse last night about 3hrs before kick-off?!

Has anyone ever seen their side rattle seven (or more) goals past someone in a competitive match?!

I've only seen it once. Luton put seven past Cardiff in the 70's and the only other game I even remember us scoring seven in was in the top flight nigh on 20 years when Shilton was keeping goal for Southampton. I wasn't there.

loads of fives and sixes.

my first game at anfield was when we beat Derby County 5 - 0 on 14th October 1978.

Earlier ,on 2nd September 1978 we beat Spurs 7 - 0. I wasn't there of course.

what a side that was!!! even with Kevin Sheedy gegging in the pic.

Saw us stick 12 past Oswestry Town in 1975, 8-1 past Melksham Town in the FA Cup and 7-1 past Bridgend also in the FA Cup, and then a 7-0 against Langney Sports in the Cup. Missed our 7-0 league win three years back.

Cunts lost 5-0 away at the bottom team last night though!

shit shit how could i forget.

I was in the Kop aged 10 when we smashed Oulu Palloseaura 10 - 1 at Anfield in the European Cup First round second leg. i'm pretty sure Terry Mac amd Souey got trebles.

first leg was one each.

Beat that !!! 10 - 1. still got the program too.

never made the Crystal Palace 9 - 0 drubbing in 1989. Aldo's last match

Indeed, never mind the backroom staff either.

Too young to have attended Leeds Uniteds first ever European Cup match defeating Lyn Oslo 10-0.

Saw them thrash Besiktas 6 - 0 a couple of years back.

Arsenal were awesome last night though. There was a bloke on the radio the other day who, fed up of seeing his team regularly beaten, has done the unthinkable and swapped teams for a winning one. He was looking forward to his first match with his new team - Arsenal. He's blogging his team swap etc., will try find it.

Three times-

Rovers 7-1 Forest (96) Rovers 7-2 Sheff Weds (97) Rovers 7-1 West Hammers (02)

Beat that for big scores in recent years.

Was there for

Liverpool 7 Southampton 1

16 Jan 1999

Even Carra and Dominic Matteo scored!!

was 5-0 and then Southampton scored and their fans started singing "Five up, you only sing when you're five up"

Robbie Hat-trick

I blame their 'keepers kit. And Sparky Hughes' face is a picture after the third one
