David Bentley has told skyspurts that he's done all he can at rovers and wants to play champions league footie........well good luck david, you gobshite. After all who'd expect any loyalty these days. It's not as if rovers did owt for you like rescue you from Norwich bleedin City and turn your career around..........still if we can get anywhere near the ££££££££'s for him that are being banded about then seriously it's no great loss. Since he broke into the Engerland squad his heads been up his own arse and he's believed all his own press.......Hand on heart I can honestly say that I were more upset when Duff left for Chelsea.........now that boy could win a game on his own...........

Not that i'm complaining about it, but has this section of the board become dedicated to Blackburn Rovers? Its good because its one of the few sections which isnt ruined by idiotic Americans.

I always thought that Duff was the most overrated player around at that time. He had a decent season for Blackburn, and then a reasonable world cup for the Irish Republic, (a team which was ridiculously overrated and had the best propaganda coup when Keane, rightly, walked out) he was anonymous the following season for Blackburn, and yet they somehow got £16 Million from Abramovich for him. Good business I say.

As for Bentley. He's replaceable, and I'm not convinced he'll last long for England. He does have the abilty to, you know, pass the ball, which means he should always be picked ahead of Shaun Wright-Phillips, but at the moment, he's a class behind Joe Cole, Hargreaves, Gerrard and possibly Beckham.

How many years does he have left on his contract? I bet he ends up at Tottenham.

Think he's got 2 years left but that means nish these days doesn't it........? Agree that Duff had a poor season, for him, the year before he left but that was down to his injuries, hamstrung methinks. But from when he broke through in '98 until his penultimate season he was class, especially in the promotion season....He was just so exciting to watch and he could win matches on his own.....

I think you're right about Bentley in that he will end up, not at one of the B4, but somewhere like Spuds, Citeh or maybe Villa...If he does go to the B4 then he's a plant pot, well he ain't the brightest button on the jacket anyhow, cos he'll end up like SWP, in n out.

And for what it's worth an obviously unfit Beckham would be ahead of him for England..........oh and yep, I think we should open a new forum........dedicated to Rovers.

Its all very well and good being quality in Division 2 but Duff has always been seriously overrated.

Too much hype over Bentley - it would be good business for Blackburn - I would think Liverpool would take him - what with Barry as well they are fast becoming a home for mediocre English players...

As for Duff - again great business. He is a great player on his day - but how many games has he played since he left Blackburn/ Chelsea?

I would be more concerned about the next manager. Hughes was doing a good job and pulling in decent players like Santa Cruz and I guess he would have bought wisely in the summer too. Ince or Big Sam will probably be next?

If my info has been correct over the last week.........then I'm gonna be up by approx £730 quid from £23 wager.......Please employ Ten 'Bob' Cate .......oh and I reckon he could do a job at Ewood:lol:

Ince was interviewed last week and is telling folk hes got it.....though he ain't got the badges:confused2: Wally wi't brolley will be interviewed tomoz, god forbid, the press hate us enough, this would make us a complete laughing stock .......big Sam's keeping quiet after his interview on Friday cos, ahem, it didn't go very well.........laudrup n billic are not out of the frame just yet........Say yes to Big Henk....... Then again there could be one or two coming from left field.......it's hotting up now and i've got faith in John Williams and the board to make the correct decision..................even if that is Jabba (BFS, aLARDARSE,Sea-slug or whatever his name is! :uhoh:

Apparently, McClaren isnt being kept on for the knockout stages of Euro 2008 by Five Live due to the backlash against them for employing him and his attempts at humour during the Croatia game. They may have bumped him already, didnt hear him yesterday or today. This may of course me down to him needing the time to make another two hour long bullshit powerpoint presentation in an attempt to hoodwink the Blackburn board.

If McClaren does get the job, I can see a player exodus, Bentley, Santa Cruz, Ooijer, Emerton, Pedersen, McCarthy, basically anyone who could get into a half decent Premiership team. And if they all leave, then its a long way down for Blackburn...

I've just watched that sky interview he did in full and I swear if I see that little scroat out n about I'll knock fuck out of him........who the fuck does he think he is the little twat.....appearing on skysports, half-pissed in a Marbella club and talking himself up like he's fuckin' Maradonna in his prime.........talk about disrespecting the club and fans.......I just hope John Williams has the sense to ram those words down his scrawny little throat and remind him he's signed a contract to run for another 3 years and he can go and sit and watch Sky+d fuckin bangbabes all day and pull himself round his apartment........talk about believing your own press.......who the fuck is gonna take him who's in the chumpions league anyhow...lets see..

MU - Fergie ain't interested Chavski - think they are looking for a more exotic number Arse - not after he bad mouthed THEM Liverpoo - maybe but they ain't got any real dosh Then theres the europeans.....but they won't want to pay such a big transfer fee AND wages.......so that leaves the UEFA sides, Citeh,Pompey,Villa, Everton,Spuds......well is he really moving on up there? KNOB.............
