First I sent my team into a trainings camp. They're a little bit tired at the moment. I lost my first two games against Al and Leggy. Bonz and Ricardo sent off.

Thing with this 20/20 is that there is no easy way to progress, you have to keep playing the games and using the training points picked up to boost player ratings. If you invite friends and they accept you get a ton of training points to use, which helps develop the team. I've tried out the various fielding settings, the only one that works is the defensive one. I've pretty much got a good balance of points in my batting line-up, you only really need the top 6 though, and you only need 6 bowlers to be of similar strength. Teams seem to improve even when they lose, I lost 20 of my first 30 games and 12 of the next 530!
El Jarvo trounced me handily 6-0.......and I somehow managed to get both sent off with two yellows but was still Man Of The Match for my squad due to that feat. Yes, there's certainly a learning curve involved to the game, but hey, it's still worth a laugh.
And Tim........I'm trying to accept your request for the match, but I'm getting the dreaded Server Error in '/' Application message from the app. Soon come.

Both apps are struggling a bit, aren't they? The cricket one was all but dead last night, and the football timed out all the time this morning (still made sure I got my there challenges out though!!!).
Least I'm picking up money in the football, and feel like I'm improving. Cricket seems like a losing battle at the moment. Just playing the same people over and over and over again with little result financially (and everyone's beating me). Any training points I pick up then go straight back into fitness and morale - and that takes an age due to player's attributes taking so long to load. It's a long hard slog!

You sure your team isnt set up wrongly, or not balanced?.. Bit surprised i just beat you, on my second game.
They've fucked it up with all these modifications the last two days.
One key thing I forgot to mention before, mainly because it just isn't cricket.......but the cheerleaders (!) make a huge difference to your team, disproportionately to everything else. A good team of totty means you win 95% of your home games, even against higher rated oppo.

Have never been able to add cheerleaders - I just get a page which says 'checking' and goes nowhere.
Do you need a stadium or first summat before you can get cheerleaders?!
Didn't used to, but they've pissed about with it so much this last week anything could be happening. I just lost twice to a level 2 player who only had one decent batsman and bowler!

I am doing a bit better in cricket over the football; at least I took the time to train 'em, I'd been so busy I just kinda hurriedly rushed through that aspect with the football. Don't worry Burt, doubtless recent challenges in cricket will soon turn the other way.......
