I see a couple of people have got teams in there - Gazman's just beaten me 2-1 in my first ever game!

Seems you can only improve your players' ability, and increase your finances, the more games you play - so can more people add the 'Premier League' application, please, and give me a game!

And would Frank and John accept the challenges I've laid down! You'll wallop me cos I'm new to this! :lol:

I actually thought about who I should have in my line-up - got me and PompeyOrder as lumbering centre-halves, 6ft8 Nobby in goal, Biggy, Leggy and Molly as midfield enforcers and Shug as the nippy fella up front!

Dunno why though, should've just filled my team up with birds. I thought the people I picked would genuinely have to do summat to help improve my ratings, but seems it ain't anywhere near as complex as that!

just put created my team.

Got Jemma in their as a bruising midfield enforcer, Darren and Al to be the thugs at centre back, Young Alistair creating in centre midfield, and myself in goal just standing their to block all the shots.

I had Don and Hac in my team originally. Er, but then forgot to save it, and I just threw that one together, before moving people into positions I thought best suited. I know Donato doesn't bother with Facebook any more and I initially thought you might need some 'input' from your team to better yerself. You know, like a proper 'team' effort. How naive I was! :lol:

Right, can some of you lot challenge me, please? I used up my three challenges for the day at precisely 12:01 this morning. :uhoh:

It's gonna be about three months before I dare offer Tim a game! :lol:

That's outrageous! Just got in and 'played' Bert, Jem and Liam ... and had a second game with John.

And then I've been drawn in the first round of some Luton cup competition against a team called the 'Hanging Sacks' (go check 'em out!)

They beat me 54-0!

they've scored 14700 odd goals,and let in 62 :laugh:

That's the thing with this game, you have to go through that entire fcuking learning curve to train your players with games and cash. I got a shedload of cash though for playing a cup game (the one I lost 54-0!) but did at least get a share of over 200k seats, so that helped. Otherwise you only pick up coin for home gate receipts and you can only do three of 'em a day.

Have you got 20Twenty Cricket Liam? Am sure I've seen you and Timbo discussing it, or was that the 'real thing'? I added that application this morning. Assume it's just more of the same?

Trade secret on this thing.....play 4-2-4 with short passes and running with the ball, and your results suddenly go ballistic - I lost 5 of my first 6 games playing an average 4-4-2 and from then on it has been ridiculous, frequently 30-0 up at half time. Have only conceded one goal since March.

20/20 cricket is much better, all kinds of different options and features.
